This metal match box is not dated but it is believed to be from the early 1900s. It is not marked and the maker is unknown. The match holder is made of a varigated brown color sheet metal or tin. The bottom has an embossed striker and the back side has a hinge. The match holder measures 1-3/4'' x 1-3/8'' x 9/16''. It appears to be in fair to good condition with some wear from use as pictured. |
