The whistle is not dated but it was used as a prize in the 1930s. The Cracker Jack ID number for this prize is Z-0561. It was from Wm. Shaland (Nat Shaland & Son) of New York, N.Y. and Made in Japan. It is marked on the top with some Japanese writing and “MADE IN JAPAN”. The prize whistle measures about 1-1/2'' x 1-3/4'' x 3/8''. It appears to be in near mint to mint condition as pictured. |
