| The pictures below show larger views of all (7) Old Painted Lead Metal Johillco Play Set Navy Sailor Figures in this lot. These were made in England, but we are not sure if they were made to be British or American Sailors. They are not dated, but they are believed to be from the mid 1930s. It is difficult to see, but they are marked on the bottom, under the white paint “Johillco England”. There are two different poses with moving arms and guns, two standing holding rifles, and two on a knee with rifles. All seven of these play set figures for one price! To judge the sizes, the center Sailors, not counting rifles, measure about 2-5/16'' tall. They appear to be in excellent or better condition, with their original paint as pictured. |
