| | | The picture below shows larger front and back views of this Texas A & M University Fire Department Officer Metal Token Coin. There is only one being offered here, and both sides are being shown. The coin is not dated and the year that it was made is unknown. It is made of what appears to be a bronze metal. There is a different emblem or insignia on each side. One side has an emblem with a “T” for Texas, and a Star, surrounded by a wreath, and three stars at the bottom. The other side has five fire hose nozzles. It is marked on the two sides as follows: TEXAS A & M UNIVERSITY T 1876 FIRE OFFICER IV VANCE M. TRIPP The coin measures about 1-1/2'' wide. It appears to be in mint condition as pictured. |
