| | | | The picture below shows a larger view of this 1960 Boy Scouts of America Operation Polar Bear Award Ceremony Black & White Photograph. Unfortunately the location and the scouts pictured are both unknown. There is one banner flag that reads “NIGHTHAWK” and streamers on the flag pole read “KLONDIKE DERBY”. The award ribbons have the Boy Scout emblem and read “OPERATION POLAR BEAR”. It almost looks like more could be read, if the image was enlarged. This black & white photograph measures about 10'' x 8''. It appears to be in good condition as pictured with some over all creasing, wrinkling, and small spotting from handling. |
