| | | The picture shows a front and back view of this 1940s Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Squeeze Puppet Chimpanzee or Monkey Toy Paper Prize. This paper prize was created by C. Carey Cloud during World War II when there was metal shortages. The prize is not marked Cracker Jack, but it is a well known Cracker Jack prize. It is printed in color on die cut paper. The instructions are in one section (the bottom when folded). When folded, as instructed, you can squeeze the sides and make the monkey move his mouth and appear to be talking. There are different animal puppets in this set. The toy prize measures 1-5/8'' x 3-1/8''. It appears to be in excellent to near mint unused condition as pictured. |
