The following are included in this lot: There is a © 1955 “Walt Disney’s Davy Crockett King of The Wild Frontier Coloring Book” with Fess Parker. This Whitman coloring book is a think one with many pages. The back cover (not shown) has a three piece Davy Crockett coon skin cap to cut out. The inside front cover has some crayon scribbling. The title page has a tear. There are very few pages that are colored inside. Next there is a © 1955 “Walt Disney’s Davy Crockett King of The Wild Frontier” Comic Book with Fess Parker as Davy Crockett. This is a Gold Key 15 cent comic book published by the Western Publishing Company. This is a complete comic book wth some wear. There is an old unused Davy Crockett Bolo tie with fringes. It has a metal bolo tie slide with Davy, holding his gun. We know that this is unused because we had opened an original sealed box of them. There is a silver colored metal badge pin. It has crossed rifles. One has feathers, and one has a powder horn hanging from it. It has a mounted faceted blue plastic stone and is marked “DAVEY CROCKETT”. On the back is a hook for the pin and a mount for the pin, but the pin had been snapped off. It can be replaced. There is an old Davey Crockett – Buffalo Hunter Card. It is an old arcade machine card you would get at an arcade found at an old boardwalk, amusement park, fair, or other busy amusement location. It is © Exhibit Supply and it was printed in U.S.A.. The card has many vertical creases. The back is blank. The other three items in this lot are all records. One of these has a paper sleeve. The sleeve is damaged but it is still present. That one is a Little Golden Record from Walt Disney’s Davy Crocket – Davy’s Song Message To Everyone: “BE SURE YOU’RE RIGHT (DAVY’S MOTTO)” sung by Jimmie Dodd and The Frontier Men. The other side has: “BANG GOES OLD BETSY (DAVY’S SONG ABOUT HIS RIFLE)” written by Gil George and George Bruns and sung by Jimmie Dodd and The Frontier Men. Another record is from Disneyland. It is “THE BALLAD OF DAVY CROCKETT” with The Wellingtons (Tom Blackburn and George Bruns). The other side has Walt Disney’s Story of Davy Crockett – with Disneyland Story Reader Lois Lane. The third record is “THE BALLAD OF DAVY CROCKETT” with (T. Blackburn and G. Bruno) Tommy Scott, Vocal from the orchestra. The other side has: “Mambo Rock” with (Reichner – Phillips – Ayre) Bob Daily, Vocal from the orchestra. All eight of these old Davy Crockett items for one price! The measures about 8-3/8'' x 10-7/8'' x 3/8''. It appears to be in excellent mint condition as pictured. |
