We believe that these were from an international, interdenominational organization of Bible classes for young women. “Over five hundred thousand Philatheas are registered in a national organization of these classes in a great organization with the Baracas, called the World Wide Baraca and Philathea Union, Incorporated”. They are each marked “PHILATHEA” on the front and the backs are blank. They are made of a gold colored metal that is probably brass. The pins each measure 1/2'' wide. They appear to be in excellent condition as pictured. |
