| | | | The pictures show views of this Old Buck Rogers Looking Character Figure Rubber Toy Knife. This toy knife is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1940s or 1950s. It was probably sold from an old five and dime store. The handle appears to be a Buck Rogers or a similar knock off generic space character figure or figurine. This is the only one of its kind that we have ever seen. The figure has a winged space helmet, a spacesuit, and is holding a ray gun in his hand. The knife is molded of black rubber and it has a silver painted blade. It is simply marked on the blade as follows: U.S. PAT.
JAPAN The toy knife measures about 7-1/2'' long. It appears to be in good condition. The old rubber is fragile and the tip of the knife has broken off as pictured. The tip is included and may be able to be repaired. |
