| | | | The pictures below show views of all (8) 1963 State of Maine Ship & Maine Military Academy Kodachrome Color Photograph Slides in this lot. These slides were all found together and are dated MAY 1963. They are believed to be from the Maine Military Academy. The two slides at the top right are of the TS State of Maine Ship which was formerly the U.S.A.T. ANCON (1942), the U.S.S. Ancon AP-66, and the U.S.S. Ancon AGC-4, before being acquired by the Maine Military Academy. The two top left slides are believed to be of another training ship. The four in the second row are of a young Officer and his family. Perhaps he was on one of the ships, and instructor at the school, or a graduate. We simply do not know. All of these photo slides for one price! The color photo slides each measure 2'' x 2''. They appear to be in mint condition as pictured. |
