With the stories, there are many illustrations by Harrison Cady inside these. Four of these were published by Little, Brown, and Company of Boston, Massachusetts. The other book was published by Grosset & Dunlap. That particular book was added as an extra to this lot. It is in poor condition with damage. This book was formerly a Winthrop, Massachusetts Public Library book. (unknown year) MRS. PETER RABBIT. Green Meadow Series Book. This book is badly damaged, missing pages, heavy wear, a section of the binding missing, writing inside and torn pages. It was put in this lot as an added extra because we just didn't want to throw it away All of these for one price! To judge the sizes, the three matching books each measure about 4-3/4'' x 7'' x 5/8''. Aside from the Mrs. Peter Rabbit book, the matching books appear to be in very good used condition with some over all wear from use and handling as pictured. The top left book has old red tape on the binding side and wear on the edges. These do not have dust jackets. |
