The pictures shows a view of both sides of all (3) Old Toy Pirate Premium Silver Plastic Treasure Coins in this lot. The coins are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1950s or 1960s. These coins may have been used for two different food premium or prize promotions. The first is as one of the coins issued in the 1950s for Armour Franks. The second is as one of the coins in a Cap'n Crunch Pirate Chest mail away premium in the 1960s. The coins are not marked except for a small star in a circle on the coin. These coins are made of silver plastic. On the first one there is a Pirate image with a cutlas or sword on one side and the other side has a parrot bird. There is a hole in the center and the two sides are marked as follows: CAPTAIN MISSION 2000 BARBAREES 1700 PIRATE TREASURE On the second coin there is a Pirate image on one side and the other side has a sailing ship, crossed cutlas swords, and a banner. The two sides are marked as follows: BLACKBEARD 1752 1 DARDENEL PIRATE TREASURE On the third coin there is a Pirate image on one side and the other side has a sailing ship. The two sides are marked as follows: CAPTAIN KIDD 1788 2 GIBRALTS PIRATE TREASURE The coins each measure 1-1/2'' wide. They appear to be in mint condition as pictured. |
