It is old but the year that it was made is unknown. It appears to be made of brass. This coin may have been for some sort of contest, but we do not know for sure. One side has a cow or bull head, and the other side has its hind quarters. It is marked on the two sides as follows: ARMOUR'S BRANDED BEEF
