| | | The picture shows a view of all four panels of this 1935 General Electric Advertising Light Bulb Printed Paper Sleeve Box. It is imprinted in orange and blue on white corrugated paper. It pictures (2) old light bulbs and ''Thomas Edison, Inventor of the first incandescent lamp in 1879''. The box was made in the U.S.A. from General Electric Company. The colorful box is dated 1935 and it has this reference: ''Did You Know? ...that the 60 watt GE light bulb you buy today costs only 1/4 as much as in 1923. ...That, what's more - it's over 50% brighter - more efficient.'' The opened sleeve or box measures about 2-1/4'' x 2-1/4'' x 4-3/8''. It appears to be in excellent condition with some old spotting and wear as pictured. |
