| | | | The pictures below show a larger front and back view of this Pair of Old Porcelain Bisque Bride and Groom Wedding Cake Decoration Figures. These porcelain figures are not dated but they are believed to be from the early 1900s. The top of their backs are marked ''MADE IN JAPAN'', but the maker is unknown. These are matching painted female figures. The arms move up and down. One is wearing some lacy white cloth and the other has a suit made of what appears to be either crepe paper or corn husks. These bisque figures measure about 3-1/4'' tall. They appear to be in excellent or better condition as pictured. The brown spots on the bride could be old glue, or cake icing. We have not tried to clean these, that will be left up to the buyer to decide. |
