The picture below shows larger front and back views of all (8) Different Small Colorful Old Victorian Porcelain Figures or Figurines in this lot. These are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1920s to the 1940s. All appear to be of Victorian era looking people. Two of these have two figures or a couple on them. Two of these have some fancy cloth material applied to them. Some of these have gold paint accents. Most have a marking, but those with cloth may have a mark under that cloth. Included here from left to right they are as follows: #1.) Woman with a green dress, bow in her hair, and a hand held fan. Marked “JAPAN” on the bottom. #2.) Naked child with a shell wheelbarrow with a flower and leaves. Marked “JAPAN” and a circle with a cross on the bottom. #3.) Victorian couple, seated woman in a light green dress. The man wears a suit with a green jacket. Marked “MADE IN JAPAN” on the bottom. #4.) Man & woman couple. He is seated on a rock wall with a basket, and handful of grapes. She is in a floral dress and a kerchief. Marked “20932 GERMANY” on the back of the base. #5.) Victorian woman in a floral dress with applied lace material. #6.) Victorian man in a fancy suit and hat. Marked “JAPAN” on the bottom. #7.) Smaller blonde hair woman (with fruit?). Marked “JAPAN” on the bottom. #8.) Orange haied woman bust with applied cloth hat or bonnet, with lace cloth, and flowers. All eight of these for one price! To judge the sizes the (#5 woman figure) measures about 5-1/4'' tall. These figurines appear to range from very good to mint condition as pictured. We do not see any breaks, chips, or cracks on these. |
