The picture shows a view of this Old Radio Corporation of America RCA Advertising Money Clip. This money clip is not dated and the year that it was made is unknown. It is marked ''''HIT'' U.S.A.'' on the back. The moneyclip appears to be made of brass with a reverse painted plastic disk in the center. RCA was an American electronics company rich in History from 1919 to 1986. The RCA trademark is currently (as of 2012) owned by Technicolor and used by Sony Music Entertainment. We do not know who the original owner of this money clip was. It could have been someone famous, a Producer, Promoter, Executive, Recording Artist, Movie, Film, or Television Actor, or an Employee. It may have been used as a gift or award. We do not know the History behind it. There could have been a lot of money pass through this clip. The money clip measures 2-1/4'' long. It appears to be in excellent used condition. Some of the gold pain on the underside of the disk is stuck to the brass section as pictured. It could be repainted if taken apart, but that will be left up to the buyer to decide. |
