Celluloid   Early Plastic   Miniature   Penny Toy
The picture shows a close view of both side of the (2) RARE Miniature Hollow Celluloid Toys in this lot. These are not the same as celluloid charms. These are much more rare! The first is a person riding a donkey pulled cart. It is painted in multiple colors. It measures 1-1/16" long and is in mint condition. The second one is an early police officer. He appears to be directing traffic with a raised hand. The other hand I believe is supposed to be holding a sign. There is a hole on top where something once was. This one is in good condion with the following: The missing sign, cracks on the bottom, and a loose arm. The applied raised arm has come detached from the body but both arms are connected by an inside thread. The arm can be re-attached. These celluloid items are very fragile and delicate. These RARE toys are not dated but believed to be from the early 1900's.
