| | | | The pictures show views of Old Detailed Lithographed Doctor Print by Fildes. The first picture shows the entire print and the second one shows a little closer view of the image. The year that this print was made is unknown. It is marked in pencil under the image ''By Fildes'' and ''The Doctor''. The print has a touching image of a Doctor sitting by lamp light waiting for a young girl to recover from an illness. Behind her is her mother crying at a table and her Father standing by watching. The print has a lot of small details such as furniture, an old medicine bottle, tea cup with spoon, oil lamp, wall hangings, a bird in a bird cage, a pitcher, a mixing bowl, flowers, tables, chairs, and more. It appears to be very well made. There is no frame. The old frame that it was in had fallen apart and the glass broke. It measures 14'' x 10''. It is in excellent condition with some light age discoloration in the white area as pictured. This would be covered if it is matted when framed. |
