Fancy Old Unused Syroco Wood Tea Cup & Saucer Display Stand
Syroco   Wood   Tea   Cup   Saucer   Display   Stand   Kitchen   Diningroom   Novelty   Nostalgic   Decorative   Antique
The picture below shows larger top and bottom views of this Fancy Old Unused Syroco Wood Tea Cup & Saucer Display Stand. The display is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1950s or earlier. It is made of a compressed and molded wood saw dust type material. A cup would sit on the round area and a saucer plate would stand behind it hooked at the bottom with the scroll designs. It is marked on an old foil sticker on the bottom as follows:

SYRACUSE ORNAMENTAL CO. INC.
SYROCO WOOD
REG. U.S. PAT. OFF.
SYRACUSE, N.Y.
MADE IN U.S.A.
PATENT PENDING

The display stand measures about 3-1/4'' x 4-3/8'' x 1''. It appears to be in mint unused condition as pictured.
