Some of these are old and some are newer. Included in this lot is: a Tootsie Roll advertising playing card deck. The cards and the container that they come in are an odd shape. Some cards are out to show the design and some of the characters on the cards. The card deck is complete and has two Jokers. Next is an old sealed glass tube with a wrapped Tootsie Roll inside. The tube is marked as follows ''DIETER'S SURVIVAL KIT - IN CASE OF EMERGENCY BREAK GLASS!''. Next there is an unopened package of (6) colorful Tootsie Roll candy advertising puffy stickers. After that is a 1941 World War II U.S. Army Soldier photograph. The photo is of a Soldier on his cot in a tent writing a letter home. On the bed behind him is a box of Tootsie Roll candy that someone probably mailed him. Also in the photo is his foot locker, uniform hanging and other tents in the background with the sides lifted up. There is a fancy border and within it, it is marked: ''STUBER PHOTO SAN ANTONIO TEXAS''. There is writing on the back that reads: ''2 - 41 LEO SWIFT OF SOMERVILLE'' (Massachusetts). The rst of the items in this lot are (5) Tootsie Roll and Tootsie Roll Pop candy wrappers. To judge the sizes the old photograph measure about 2-1/2'' x 3-1/4''. These items appear to range from excellent to mint condition as pictured. |
