These photo negatives are of U.S. Army Soldiers or Airmen posing with a mileage sign at a U.S. military airstrip, on an island, somewhere in the South Pacific during World War II. Because of the sign, it shouldn't be very hard to figure out exactly where they are. Only a few signs at the bottom and one at the top are difficult to see.
