| | | | The picture below shows larger top and bottom views of this Old Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Lithographed and Embossed Tin Toy Prize Jumping Frog. This jumping frog is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1930s. I do not have a Cracker Jack prize ID number for these. It is not marked, and the maker is unknown. It normally would have a spring in the bottom that makes it jump. The spring would temporarily be held in a black gum like substance. This toy was also sold in old five and dime stores, as well as old novelty, magic trick, and toy catalogs. The prize or toy frog measures about 1-3/4'' x 2-1/2'' x 1/4''. It appears to be in excellent condition, but it is missing the spring section in the bottom as pictured. |
