The pictures below show two larger views of this Old Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Lithographed Tin Novelty Flying Helicopter Spinner Prize Toy. This helicopter toy is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1920s or 1930s. These were available as in store prizes or premiums when a purchase was made. Some may have been attached to a package or case. There were several different ones that were used over the years. At least one was marked, but most were not. These were also available in novelty stores and catalogs as well. The tin helicopter blade has red, silver, and blue stripes. The other parts are a screw rod with a hooked end to hold, and a sleeve to push the blade up. The maker is unknown. To judge the sizes the screw rod section measures about 7-5/8'' long. It appears to be in excellent condition as pictured.
