| | | The picture below shows a larger view of this 1946 Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Lithographed Tin Toy Prize You’re It Hand Spinner. There are two sizes of this prize. This is the larger version of the two. The spinner is a decision maker and will point to one who is “it”. This type of novelty advertising premium had been made and used in quite a few styles with promotional advertising, and often times they were used to find out who pays for a round of drinks at a bar or tavern. This one is die cut in the shape of a pointing hand and it reads: YOU’RE “IT”. There is an indent in the center for it to spin on. The Cracker Jack ID number for this prize is Z-1077, and it was by The Cosmo Manufacturing Company of Chicago, Illinois. The hand spinner prize measures about 2-9/16'' x 13/16''. It appears to be in excellent to near mint condition as pictured. The back side is the same color, clean, and blank. |
