| | | | The pictures show views all around this Old Leader Novelty Candy Company Circus Advertising Candy Box. This is an empty box that once held candy and a toy prize like Cracker Jack. This company had put many different toy prizes in these boxes including baseball cards, World War II cards, and more. This box is not dated but it is belieced to be from 1939 to 1940 when the New York World's Fair was going on. The box is in the shape of a purse or luggage with a handle. The punch out section of the handle is still intact. One side pictures a circus clown with balloons at a Fair, carnival or amusement park. There is a stage, a Ferris Wheel, a Carousel or Merry Go Round and more. Another side pictures a cowboy on a bucking horse at a rodeo with other cowboys and tents in the background. The two ends have two different images of women divers in action. The bottom has a coupon to be cut off and saved to order premiums such as those listed. The box is marked as follows: CANDY AND TOY
