| | | | The picture shows a view of both sides of this 1950 Roy Rogers Deputy Sheriff Quaker Oats Cereal Premium Badge. This premium badge was offered in 1950 for only 25c and one Quaker or Mothers Oats trade mark. The badge was advertised as being 14K gold plated. The front of the badge has a raised image of Roy Rogers and his horse Trigger. It is marked as follows: ROY ROGERS
AND ''TRIGGER''
DEPUTY SHERIFF On the back of the badge the pin section slides open to reveal a mirror inside (intact and shown opened). The mirror was probably used for signaling. There is a section under it that may have had a cover. It looks like a secret compartment. This six point star badge measures 2-3/4'' tall and appears to be in excellent condition as pictured. |
