| | | | The picture below shows a larger view of this Rare Old Hopalong Cassidy Comic Book & Movie Cowboy Hero Character Ink Pen. The ink pen is show opened. This pen is not dated but it is believed to be from the early 1950s. It is not marked and the maker is unknown. At the top is a bust of Hopalong Cassidy, with his painted head, black hat, and black shirt. In the metal section there is a horse shoe, a revolver pistol or gun, a bull or steer head, and rope. On the black plastic section is Hoppy’s name “HOPALONG CASSIDY” in rope. The closed ink pen measures about 5-7/8'' long. It appears to be in mint condition as pictured. It displays nicely, but because of its age it will require a new ink cartridge for use. |
