The pictures show a front and back view of this United States Navy Officer Sterling Silver & Gold Filled Insignia Pin. This would be a smaller hat device or pin for a garrison hat for commissioned and warrant officers. The pin is not dated and the year that it was made is unknown. It has a sterling silver (left facing) eagle and shield and gold filled anchors. It is marked on the back as follows:
