Well, we believe that it is from the Independent Order of Odd Fellows or Rebekah group, but it could be a Masonic or another different secret organization. If you know for certain please let us know. The booklet has ''QUESTIONS FOR EXAMINATION OF CANDIDATES FOR ADVANCEMENT FROM ONE DEGREE TO ANOTHER''. Shown is the ''INITIATORY DEGREE'' page, but there are also pages for First, Second, and Third Degrees. The booklet is a small pocket size and it has coded words on pages which we can not read. There are (12) pages plus the covers. The booklet measures 2-11/16'' x 4-9/16''. It appears to be in good used condition with some wear and light soiling from handling as pictured. |
