The picture shows a view of this Old Boxed Miniature Sterling Silver Mechanical Pencil. The pencil is not dated but it is old. The pencil has a loop to hang as a charm or pendant on a chain. There is a nice design all around the pencil. It was found in the box it is in. The pencil is marked as follows:

AXT STERLING MADE IN U.S.A.

The box has a ribbon that hold the pencilreads as follows:

STERLING
PENCILS BY CROSS
EST. 1846

The pencil measures 2-15/16'' long counting the loop. The pencil has lead and it is in working order. It appears to be in mint condition with an even aged patina as pictured. It could be polished if desired. The silver and white box is complete and has some light wear.
