The pictures show two views of all (3) Different Old United States President Advertising Souvenir Tea Spoons in this lot. The spoons are not dated and the year that they were made is unknown. We also do not know if these are made of silver or silver plated. They have not been tested. These are the first three Presidents of a series or set of Presidential teaspoons. The first spoon has an image of George Washington on the end of the handle, American flags on the back, and in the bowl is an image of his home Mount Vernon in Virginia. It is marked on the two sides as follows: GEORGE WASHINGTON FIRST PRESIDENT 1789 - 1797 MOUNT VERNON VIRGINIA WM. ROGERS MFG. CO. IS The second spoon has an image of John Adams on the end of the handle, American flags on the back, and in the bowl is an image of his appointed Chief Justice John Marshall. It is marked on the two sides as follows: JOHN ADAMS SECOND PRESIDENT 1797 - 1801 JOHN MARSHALL APPOINTED CHIEF JUSTICE WM. ROGERS MFG. CO. IS The third spoon has an image of Thomas Jefferson on the end of the handle, American flags on the back, and in the bowl is an 1803 image of America. It is marked on the two sides as follows: THOMAS JEFFERSON THIRD PRESIDENT 1801 - 1809 1803 LOUISIANA PURCHASE WM. ROGERS MFG. CO. IS The spoons each measure about 6'' long. They appear to be in excellent condition as pictured. |
