The picture shows a view of one of the (7) Old Unused Jeep Cigarette Pack Advertising Wrappers in this lot. Only one is shown because the other six wrappers are identical. The year that these were made is unknown but they are believed to be from World War II or shortly after in the 1940s. These are flat and were never wrapped around cigarettes. They were made to be a pack of (20) cigarettes. They picture two Jeep cars with three people in each. There is a notice in small print and the rest of the wrapper is marked as follows: JEEP CIGARETTES Factory No.50 District of Virginia (notice) Manufactured By R. L. Swain Tobacco Company, Inc. Danville, Virginia, U.S.A. 123456789 JEEP CIGARETTES JEEP These each measure 6-3/4'' x 3-3/8''. They are in near mint condition with a little age discoloration at the bottom left corner of each wrapper as pictured. |
