There are two pictures showing a view of all (19) Small Old Ivory Or Bone Items in this lot. The first picture shows all of the items and the second one is a closer view showing the markings that are on the two middle dice. The first item I believe is a tool for finger nails. Next there are (5) carved elephants. There is a drilled hole on the other side of the center elephant. I am guessing that there may have been a pin on it at one time. Next there are (8) old Tiddley Winks game parts of different colors and sizes. After that there is an old bookmark with a carved camel on the top. The bottom section is not broken. It was made the way it appears to slide over book pages. There are two thin sections on the bottom. Next is a carved elephant. It has a drilled hole on the top to hold a metal charm loop. In this lot there is also a small cap a peg a miniature telescope charm. The telescope does not have a lens. These sometimes have stanhope viewer images, but this one has nothing inside. Last but not least there are (4) old dice. The two in the center have markings. These are believed to be from the 1700's. The markings were used for paying taxes to the King. One is marked with an apple and the other has a crown with the letters "GR" below. All of these items for one price! To judge the sizes the Book Mark measures 2-7/8" tall. These appear to be in excellent condition. |
