These sharpeners are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1950s. The left one has Hoppy on his horse Topper with a cloud behind them. That one may have been from a school pencil box kit or set. We do not know what the holes on the sides were made for. The right one was a bank advertising premium to teach children to save money. These are made of plastic with a metal blade. They are marked as follows: HOPALONG CASSIDY
