| | | | The picture shows the (2) colorful 1945 Capital Transit Company Washington, D.C. Street Car & Bus Line Tickets in this lot. They are both from the Capital Transit Company. They are weekly passes for Washington D.C.. One is for the week of April 16th - April 21st, 1945 and the other is from April 29th - May 5th, 1945. These old tickets are as clean and colorful as the day they were issued. The first one advertises "BE KIND TO ANIMALS WEEK" and the other "PAYROLL SAVINGS BONDS SPEED VICTORY". These are great wartime tickets from our nation's capital. They each measure 3-1/2" x 2" and both are in mint condition with the exception of not having the stubs. |
