| | | | The picture shows a view of the cover and a few pages inside this 1963 Ave Marie Magazine With Lowneys Chocolate Cover & Article. The cover pictures two young Lowneys employees in company advertising hats handling choclate candy. There is a five page article on Lowney's. The magazine is from Montreal, Canada and it is in French. The Walter M. Lowney Company was from Montreal, Canada, and Boston or Cambridge, Massachusetts. The booklet also has comic book pages including a Western story and one with the Walter Lantz cartoon character Chilly Willy. There is a hockey article as well as puzzles and games. There is a contest in the back to win a typewriter, camera, model war plane, radio, and a globe. There is some advertising in the back. Since this is all in French and we don't speak French there is not much more that can be described. It measures 7'' x 10-1/8'' and appears to be in near mint condition as pictured. |
