The pictures below show larger views of all (5) Small Old Disabled American Veteran D.A.V. Advertising Items in this lot. The first picture shows all of the items and the second picture shows the back side of the old patch pin. Four of these have the D.A.V. insignia or emblem, and the other one has an American flag with five stars at its side. These items are not dated and the years that they were made are unknown. There is ath patch with an embroidered emblem and gold metallic threaded wording. The back has an applied black cloth, and white tag. There are three pins with their back sections included. It is marked on the two sides as follows: DISABLED AMERICAN VETERANS JOHNSON HONG KONG There are (2) matching “Forget Me Not” flowers, These were given out by a Disabled American Veteran when a donation was made. They are marked: “FORGET – ME – NOT” DISTRIBUTED BY AND FOR DISABLED AMERICAN VETERANS DISABLED AMERICAN VETERANS There is a small enameled metal tie tack type pin (the pin is missing from the back). It had the emblem and is marked: DISABLED AMERICAN VETERANS LIFE MEMBER The final item included here is another small enameled metal pin It has a fifty star American flag and five stars. It is simply marked DAV All five of these items for one price! To judge the sizes the patch pin measures about 3'' wide. These items appear to be in excellent to mint condition as pictured, except for the missing pin on the back of one. It could be repaired. |
