World War II   WWII   Homefront   Alcohol   Propaganda   Military   Patriotic   War
The picture shows a view of both sides of this World War II Anti Drinking Propaganda Flyer. this sheet was put out by The National reform Association of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for the Butler County Council of Religious Education. Basically it is denouncing drinking and claiming that it is Patriotic not to drink and that you should invest in war bonds instead.

The flyer gives dollar amounts spent on alcohol from 1940, 1941, & 1942 from Butler County and the state of Pennsylvania. It gives much more information. It measures 8-1/2'' x 11''. It is in excellent condition. There are folds from mailing and a staple hole in the corner.
