There are (2) identical old political campaign cards. These are not dated but they are from Bernice B. Hanson of Lebanon, Maine, Republican candidate for State Senator for York County. There is a scenic match book cover “For Scenic and Historic Beauty – Rediscover New England”. On the inside it is stamped “Davis Filling Station – Route #1 York, Maine”. Next is an old advertising wooden nickel. It has a Native American Indian pictured on one side and it reads as follows:
MICUM McINTIRE CLAN
YORK VILLAGE MAINE
1650 – 1982
The last item in this lot is a 1958 “York County Maine Welcomes You” booklet. It is a (38) page booklet filled with much information, events, and a map. It was from the Welcome Service.
All of these items for one rice! To judge the sizes the Welcome Booklet measures about 5-3/8'' x 7-3/4''. These items appear to be in excellent to mint condition as pictured. The snow globe had the water emptied but it can be refilled in the bottom if desired. The match cover has no matches.
