The picture shows all (7) Different Old Lowney's Candy Advertising Premium Train Trading Cards in this lot. There is the back of another card shown to see the back design. These cards are very difficult cards to find. They are from a set of (35) cards. A complete set would consist of (5) trains with an engine and six cars per train.

They were used as premiums from the Walter M. Lowney Company but I am not sure of the exact year. They are believed to be from some time in the early 1900's. Each of the cards are numbered and if a complete set was sent you would receive a souvenir package of Lowneys Chocolates.

This lot contains one complete train. The backs have a short description of each train. The cards are numbers here are #1 - #7. The name of this train is:

CALAIS - MEDITERRANEE EXPRESS

Each of the cards measure about 3-1/2" x 1-1/8". I am not a card collector or dealer so I am not sure how to grade the condition. They appear to have varying amounts of creasing and/or wear.
