The picture shows this Old Lithographed Tin Checkers Popcorn Confection Advertising Premium Toy Boat. Checkers Popcorn Confection was a product of the Shotwell Manufacturing Company. The product contained toy prizes. They were a major competitor for Cracker Jack, so much so that The Cracker Jack bought out the product in 1926. It had still been produced for many years, but was eventually phased out.

This prize pictures (8) Checkers boxes, a checkerboard background and has an advertising poem that reads as follows:

This boat load of Checkers,
Is bound for the shore,
And when the kids get it,
They'll all cry for more.

The tin toy boat measures 2" long. It is in near mint condition with the only wear on the very edge as seen in the close up picture.
