The picture shows the cover and two sample page views of this 1940 Thornton Burgess The Three Bears Soft Cover Book. It is by Thornton Burgess and very nicely and colorfully illustrated throughout by Harrison Cady. There are (5) color illustrations and (6) black & white illustrations. There are (12) pages. It was published by The Platt & Munk Co., Inc.. The Artist Harrison Cady had done the artwork for many early Cracker Jack advertisements as well as prizes that were in the boxes. The book measures 6-7/8'' x 8''. It appears to be in excellent condition with some spotting or wear.
