|The picture below shows a larger front and back view of this Colorful Old L. I. Fisk & Company Soaps Advertising Premium Victorian Trade Card. The advertising card is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1800s. The back mentions 1875 and 1877 patents. It has an image of three young ladies in dresses washing laundry with a scrubbing board, a tub, and Japanese Soap. One lady is hanging laundry on a clothes line. The back has advertising as well. It is marked on the front as follows:|
“THE SUDS IS LIKE VELVET, I NEVER USED A SOAP LIKE IT.”
“THE WATER IS SETTLED AND I FIND NO GRIT IN THE TUB.”
“WE NEVER HAD SUCH CLOTHES THAT ARE WHITE AT EVERY WASHING.”
