The picture shows a view of the (2) ©1932 Solar Eclipse Eclipse - O - Scope Viewers With Envelope in this lot. These Eclipse-O-Scopes were created for the Wednesday Afternoon, August 31, 1932 total eclipse of the Sun. The envelope shows a map of New England and where the ''Path of Totality'' of the eclipse would take place, which was mainly over New Hampshire, Maine, parts of Vermont, and of course Canada.

The viewers were made by Art Photo Company of Springfield, Massachusetts and put out by The Harvey & Lewis Company, Opticians. They are made on card stock paper and have a very dark lens covering the eye holes. The scopes and the envelope are imprinted with much information about the eclipse.

To judge the sizes the viewers each measure 5-1/2'' x 3-3/8''. They appear to be in excellent condition as pictured. The envelope is brittle from age and has wear and tear.
