The picture below shows a view of this Old Nursery Rhyme Cat & The Fiddle Salt & Pepper Shaker Set. They are an unusual nursery rhyme set The Cat &amp The Fiddle from ''Hey Diddle Dittle''. The cat fits inside an opening it the front of the fiddle. They are each marked with a red and gold foil sticker Made in Japan on the bottoms and both have rubber plugs. The fiddle has two holes and the cat has three. They are not dated but believed to be from the 1940's - 1950's.

The set measures 3-1/4'' tall. They are in good condition. There are a few tiny flakes as can be seen in the scan (white spots) and the fiddle neck has a crack.
