The keyring is not dated, but it does have a patent date from January 27th, 1903. It has a stamped number on one side. This is a numbered keychain that you would drop in a mail box if found. The number would correspond to a person that is registered with it, and there for returned. The ring side separates to install ot remove keys from it. It is marked on the two sides as follows: PAT.
